David Markun’s practice focuses on securities arbitration and litigation, and employment, consumer fraud, and investment-related class actions. He has defended broker-dealers and financial professionals in hundreds of arbitrations, and has defended broker-dealers in class actions in state and federal court. David regularly advises broker-dealer clients on risk management and litigation prevention. He also represents customers in securities arbitrations and has obtained excellent results for plaintiffs in wage and hour and consumer class actions.
David received his law degree from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, in 1982. He received a Master of Arts degree from Brandeis University in 1979, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with Honors, in 1976, from the University of California at Berkeley. David was admitted to the California Bar in 1983.
