Edward Zusman concentrates his practice on
financial services related matters including securities customer complaints,
class actions involving securities and ERISA, securities regulatory matters, and
intellectual property. He has defended
broker-dealer firms and investment advisors in arbitrations and litigation and
has defended broker-dealer firms in class actions in state and federal court. He has represented plaintiff pension plan
participants in class actions nationwide.
Mr. Zusman also represents customers in claims against their financial
advisors for negligence and breach of fiduciary duty and related claims. He also has significant experience litigating
real estate matters, partnership dissolutions, and general business
disputes. Mr. Zusman received his law
degree from the University
of San Diego
in 1991 and a Master of Arts degree in English from Northwestern
University
in 1989. Mr. Zusman graduated from the University
of California
at Berkeley
in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Mr. Zusman is a member of the California Bar.
